When it comes to addressing so-called abortion rights, the message of the novel, Glimmer is more needed than ever. The book is now being made into a crowd-funded movie with a call for people to support this venture.
Voters in Ohio recently approved an amendment to their state’s constitution granting the right to an abortion. Six other states have also passed similar measures since the reversal of Roe v. Wade, with some placing no restrictions on abortion.
“I feel the message in the Glimmer story is needed now more than ever.” says Gayla Prewitt, the author of the book and producer of the film which is still in production (pictured). “We must make abortion not just illegal but unthinkable.”
Stand against abortion rights with Glimmer
The Glimmer novel has already been released. “A book that should be required reading in our schools,” said Jeff Wagner of the Patriot Review. Jeff hopes to bring the story from the pages to the screen. Efforts are underway to raise funds for the film which questions abortion rights.
Glimmer follows a young mother, Margo, searching for a daughter everyone else says never existed. “I want to take the audience on a journey, rooting for Margo to find her daughter, just like we would search for a lost neighborhood child,” said Gayla.
“We don’t know what is happening. Does Margo have a child? Is she crazy? Then, there is a revelation at the end. I hope the message that people take away is that every life, from the beginning, has a God-given story,” she added.
Dr Alveda King, a warrior for the pre-born and the founder of Speak for Life is set to be featured in the film in a cameo role. “Glimmer is a ‘for such a time as this’ message,” Alveda said.
Dr King is also the daughter of the late slain civil rights activist Rev AD King, the niece of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr., and a Christian Evangelist who often addresses abortion rights. She is a Fox News Channel contributor and hosts “Alveda King’s House” on Fox Nation.
Pastor David Van Bebber commented on the book and uncoming movie: “Like Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Gayla Prewitt uses a narrative to offer an extremely compelling argument… not only for the abolition of abortion… but for the value of life and the impact of one life.”
Hopefully Glimmer will deliver a strong message concerning the sanctity of life, opposing the radical abortion rights agenda that is so prevalent in the world today. Movies like Unplanned, have already helped to influence public opinion towards Pro-Life values. We would encourage everyone to support this story being told in theaters.
A young mother searches for a daughter everyone else says never existed. Margo has visions of a daughter no one else remembers. Her family has her declared insane. Is Margo crazy, or is this part of a bigger conspiracy to erase the existence of the daughter she remembers. Will Margo find the answers before it is too late to save her sanity or possibly, her daughter’s life?
