According to Covenant Eyes, statistics show that 28,258 users are watching pornography every second. 1 in 5 mobile online searches are for porn. Among Christians, 1 in 5 youth pastors and 1 in 7 senior pastors use porn on a regular basis and are currently struggling. And only 7% of pastors report their church has a ministry program for those struggling with porn. Chances are, you or someone you know is caught in a vicious cycle of porn.

Obviously there is a great need to address this issue from a Spirit-filled, Biblical and victorious perspective. And unfortunately many Christians struggling with porn don’t know where to go. If you’re a Christian, when you accepted Jesus, it was not your righteousness that gave you access to the Father. It was actually Jesus’ righteousness that gave you access to Him. And you have unlimited access. Shame is deceptive. It’ll make us think that we can’t approach God. The truth is, Jesus’ righteousness gives us access to God the Father, not our own.”
Temptation is an Opportunity
DeAngelo continues saying, “Temptation is not sin. It’s actually an opportunity for you to show how dedicated you are to live a disciplined life. Temptation is like our pop quiz in life. It’s our opportunity to show how prepared we are for the tests that come our way. So the next time you are being tempted, don’t look at it as a bad thing. But instead, see it as the opportunity to show how dedicated you are in living the life you want to live.”
