The Luis Palau Association is hosting a Stories of Hope online festival to encourage people all over the world during the coronavirus pandemic. The online event will be streamed LIVE on May 30, 2020 and will feature music from Hillsong United, TobyMac, Tasha Cobbs, Kari Jobe & Cody Carnes, and Latin duo Tercer Cielo.
Hosted by Evangelist Andrew Palau and his wife, Wendy, it will include testimonies from five-time world series champion Mariano Rivera; Superbowl champion Tony Dungy; baseball MVP Clayton Kershaw; the Bachelor’s Savannah McKinley; CrossFit world champion Rich Froning, and others.
Stories of Hope
Stories of Hope will air on Facebook, Instagram, and via hope.palau.org, premiering at 8:00 pm (EST) as some of the biggest names in Christian music and other well-known influencers, share their personal stories of hope despite Covid-19. The broadcast will culminate in a life-changing Gospel presentation from Andrew Palau.
Christians are encouraged to use this event as an opportunity to share the Good News with their friends and family. Hundreds of churches and non-profit organizations are partnering with Stories of Hope including America Prays, Go2020, Pulse, Way FM, Need Him, Trans World Radio, Outreach, and the National Day of Prayer.
“Now more than ever, people around the world are hungry for hope,” Andrew Palau says. “And just because we are physically distant from one another doesn’t mean we can’t come together-in a sense-in a powerful way, to share the hope of Jesus with those in need.”
Using the Palau Association’s Hope with God platform with its nearly 20 million online followers, the team is prayerful that this event will inspire a great multitude of viewers worldwide and lead many to respond to the Gospel.
With international travel on hold, the Palau team is redirecting their resources into multi-media platforms. In the past month alone, they have hosted a massive personal evangelism training initiative entitled Reaching Your World: How to Share Hope During Social Distancing and an online Easter event that reached tens of thousands of people. The team has seen the number of online decisions for Jesus more than double through their Hope with God website and social media community since lockdown started.
